Ben and Thea are registered Special School Teachers during the school term teaching an academic curriculum. We are also heavily involved in promoting sports, recreation and Arts activities, alongside the curriculum. Our weekend camps are a combination of safe, adventurous recreational activities that allow the participants to explore the world outside of the home and school environments. The benefits of camp for teenagers with special needs are: •increased confidence and independence • activity and exercise • the opportunity to interact with other kids, develop friendships, and build relationships • positive role modeling by adults •a chance for parents to have a much-needed break.
